give rise to corruption or the appearance of corruption
.(He was wrong.
) The fact that (corporations) may have influence over elected officials does not
mean that these officials are corrupt.” (Wrong again.
) This new legal order reclassifies influence-seeking as normal and desirable political behavior.
The (Citizens United) model flows from a belief that everyone in politics is already on the take.
